The Atrium Lutwyche - a safe haven

Construction work is now complete on The Atrium Lutwyche, the most exciting over-60s living apartments on Brisbane’s inner northside.
But what a month it has been with our first residents settling into their new homes and then came the national recommendation for self isolation due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Atrium quickly became a safe haven for its residents.
Unfortunately, the current challenging situation has halted our plans for an official opening and celebrations to mark the much anticipated completion of The Atrium and its 59 chic apartments. But we look forward to opening our beautiful community to the public as soon as it is safe to do so. The party will go on – eventually!
Strict measures are in place at The Atrium Lutwyche for the safety and protection of all our residents and staff. Sadly, Aura Holdings had to make the difficult decision to close all communal areas of the village including the pool.
Our residents are complying with the recommendations to self isolate. All our wonderful residents can be assured that while they might need to physically isolate, they are not alone.
Village Manager Clint is doing an amazing job to support our residents by keeping in contact with them and ensuring their needs are met.
All visitors to the village must sign in at the front desk and use the provided hand sanitiser. Any communal areas such as the lifts are regularly sanitised.
Our wonderful residents have maintained their good humour by keeping busy inside their independent living apartments with craft activities, movies, TV series, puzzles, brain teasers and staying connected by phone or social media with their family, friends and other residents.
While it’s been a challenging time for everyone, our residents at The Atrium know they are in a supportive and caring community. Together we will come through this crisis.
