June Activity Calendar 2019

After last months jam-packed Resident Activity Calendar, we’re looking forward to a quieter month full of cozy catch ups and comfort food in the café to celebrate the cooler weather.

If you are not a Kingsford Terrace Corinda resident and would like to enquire about joining one of our activity sessions, please call us on 07 3716 0804 to check availability. Places are limited and some activity sessions are closed to the public.

Our monthly resident drinks and nibbles will be held on Friday 7 June from 3.30pm in the café. Our residents each bring along something to drink and some finger food to share – stay for 10 minutes, stay for an hour or stay and watch the moon rising.

On Wednesday 12 June, our residents are holding their very own Biggest Morning Tea to raise much-needed funds to support the Cancer Council’s vital cancer research, support services, prevention programs, and advocacy. Not only will our residents be sharing their morning tea treats, but we’ll also be holding an official ‘Battle of the Bakers’! All proceeds will be added to our fundraising page. Other key events in this months calendar include the ‘Retirement village fees explained’ information session on Thursday 13 June, the Birthday Sausage Sizzle on Saturday 15 June, the Kingsford Terrace Corinda residents dinner at the Monier Hotel on Thursday 20 June and Session 5 of the Brain training series presented by Five Good Friends on Thursday 27 June.
