It’s spring and there’s lots of activity happening on Aura Holdings’ village building sites around southeast Queensland and in our bloomin’ beautiful residents’ gardens.

The Avenue Maroochydore is now complete. The village, in the heart of the sought-after Sunshine Coast, looks stunning and is proving popular with retirees with an incredible 16 sales recorded in the past two months.

The latest two and three-bedroom apartments at The Avenue are spacious and luxurious. Stage two offers some of the largest apartments on the Sunshine Coast with the over-sized apartments providing more than 200sq m of floorspace. These penthouse-style apartments have three bedrooms, two with ensuites, and a third bathroom. The main bedroom’s walk-in robe is the size of a double bedroom, while the luxurious kitchen has a double oven and butler’s pantry. There is nothing to match The Avenue on the Coast for location and quality retirement living apartments.

Sneak peek tours of the village were held earlier this month with the most common exclamation: “Wow, this looks nothing like a retirement village!’’

The Avenue is perfectly located on the corner of Baden Powell Street and Anzac Avenue within walking distance of Sunshine Plaza shopping centre and 200m from the water.

The village now has 113 apartments, including the new heated magnesium pool. The central courtyard and residents’ gardens are looking a treat this spring. Book to have a look on (07) 5479 6482.

On the Gold Coast, The Pavilion North Kirra is progressing rapidly and coming out of the ground with the basement carpark levels complete and the ground floor slab poured. Level 2 is next!

Deposits are being taken now for the second-stage Pavilion building to be constructed on the site in the picturesque southern end of the Coast. Our deposit holders enjoy regular get togethers and are forming some strong friendships ahead of their move to The Pavilion, due for completion in the second half of 2021.

Call (07) 5536 2865 for more information about your dream retirement besides the stunning North Kirra beach.

In Brisbane, stage three of Kingsford Terrace Corinda is nearing completion. The façade of the Mitchell building is being painted with the remainder of the scaffolding coming down. The flooring and skirting boards will soon finish off the apartments before internal painting begins.

The 10 Mitchell apartments are spacious with five on the ground floor and five accessed by the lift. There are only two apartments still available. The first residents are expected to begin moving in after Christmas.

Residents, staff and visitors are enjoying spring in our beautiful and lush gardens of Kingsford Terrace. Come see what our amazing green thumbs have achieved. Call (07) 3716 0804.

Also in Brisbane’ southwest, Somerset Indooroopilly is being constructed within the historic Indooroopilly Golf Course. There has been a lot of activity on the building site alongside Meiers Road  – things are starting to take shape!

Two tower cranes are now in action, one each for buildings A and B. The slabs are being poured and scaffolding is being installed as the building begins to rise from the ground. Call (07) 3720 9729 to organise a look at progress or to view floorplans and finishes.

On Brisbane’s inner northside, the residents are thriving in their new relaxed, maintenance-free lifestyle in the seven-storey The Atrium Lutwyche on High Street. The top-floor apartments have sold with only one apartment still available on floor six. Don’t delay to secure a remaining higher level apartment with the best views of the city.

The Atrium’s display apartments are beautifully furnished and open for inspection. The popular onsite café, Sano, is closed for the fitting of a full commercial kitchen and is due to reopen on October 27. The residents and Lutwyche locals have been flocking to the area’s latest coffee spot and its popularity will only increase when it is able to offer a full breakfast and lunch menu.

On the Darling Downs, the site has been cleared and ready for work to begin on The Ninth Middle Ridge retirement community within the Toowoomba Golf Club. The Ninth will offer something very different for retirees to Toowoomba.

Funding and the construction contract are in their final stages of negotiation and when completed, McNab Constructions will be on site to start earthworks. For information about living at The Ninth Middle Ridge overlooking 55ha of parkland space on the course, call (07) 4602 9099.
