The final stage of Kingsford Terrace Corinda is almost here – and it’s a big one. Radcliffe, the seventh and final stage of the community, will bring exciting new facilities along with 60 stylish, low-maintenance apartments designed with retirement living in mind. With construction almost completed, deposit holders will soon be inspecting their new homes and if you’re still considering Radcliffe as your new home, there are only a handful of available apartments left.

Exciting News for Kingsford Terrace

Welcoming its first residents back in 2015, even before it became an Aura Holdings community, Kingsford Terrace has been a fixture of Corinda for some time. Already consisting of six established buildings, the vibrant and lively community is well established and looking forward to the completion of the last piece of the puzzle.

Radcliffe will mark the seventh and final stage of Kingsford Terrace, featuring 60 modern, light-filled apartments to complete the community. Designed with independent retirement living at the front of mind, these two and three-bedroom residences offer spacious layouts, contemporary finishes, and the comfort of a lock-up-and-leave lifestyle. For those wanting to downsize without giving up the things they love, this is the perfect balance.

How did Radcliffe get its Name?

Like the other buildings at Kingsford Terrace, Radcliffe carries a name rich with local meaning. We believe the areas surrounding our communities are among their greatest assets, and we take pride in celebrating the history that shaped them.

Radcliffe honours the Radcliffe family; Amos and Sarah Radcliffe, the parents of 13 children, were farmers along the banks of the Oxley Creek for almost 50 years. Known as an unconventional crop farmer, Amos is believed to be among the first to erect a primitive cane crushing plant, despite his failed efforts to grow the crop on his farmland. In 1867, Amos played an influential role in establishing a school at the heart of the Oxley district, currently operating as Sherwood State School.

Like his father, the eldest Radcliffe son, Oliver, took a keen interest in education and the local community. Oliver worked his way through the ranks of the schooling system, from a pupil-teacher to the Chief Inspector for the Department of Public Instruction. Generations of the Radcliffe family continued to play active roles in the community and local churches, helping shape Corinda into the place we know and love today. It’s a history we’re proud to honour through the Radcliffe name.

For anyone considering a move, the timing couldn’t be better. Enjoy a fresh start in a new apartment, within an already thriving community. Stay in the area you know and love, surrounded by everything that Corinda has to offer.

Kingsford Terrace Corinda has always been about more than buildings – it’s about connection, lifestyle, and living well. With Radcliffe, the community reaches its final chapter – one that still has room for you.
