Golf club announces plans for retirement village

A Popular golf club in Brisbane’s west plans to lease part of its site for a retirement village.
The Indooroopilly Golf Club submitted a development application for the project last Friday, which was flagged in the Westside News in October last year.
Under the proposal, the club would lease 1.9 per cent of its 128ha riverfront site to retirement centre operator Aura for 60 years, with a 60-year option.
