For many years, retirees have been seeking quality retirement living options close to the beach, shops, restaurants, cafes and medical facilities in the area they know and love.
But this style of retirement living has been in short supply in the Gold Coast, leaving local residents no other choice but to compromise or consider moving out of the area they’ve lived in for decades.
Here at The Pavilion North Kirra, we’re filling this gap.
On completion, this coastal retirement community will provide two buildings of independent living apartments with facilities designed for residents to enjoy the best time of their lives.
O’Neill Architecture, one of Brisbane’s most awarded architectural firms, was appointed to design The Pavilion North Kirra. O’Neill Architecture has created a range of distinctive projects throughout Queensland, including Brisbane’s Portside and the Queens Wharf precinct, Ipswich’s Global Arts Link and the Cairns Cruise Terminal.
For The Pavilion North Kirra, the O’Neill team created a vertical village that maximises views to the Pacific Ocean and Gold Coast Hinterland. The ground level community facilities allow easy access to the beach while providing a range of interior and exterior spaces for residents’ enjoyment. This is complemented by the rooftop vegetable garden that offers a magnificent outlook.
