The holiday season is a special time at Aura Holdings, where our villages come alive with festive spirit, laughter, and meaningful connections. From joyful parties to charitable giving, our residents embraced everything Christmas has to offer. Here’s a look at how each village celebrated this year.

Kingsford Terrace: A Festive Bash to Remember

At Kingsford Terrace, over 250 residents came together for a spectacular Christmas party filled with music, dancing, and laughter. The celebrations featured line dancing, ukulele performances, bagpipes, and even visits from Santa and his elves. Residents indulged in delicious food and enjoyed an all-around hoot of a night that left everyone smiling. The party was such a success that the community is already planning next year’s festivities!

Somerset Indooroopilly: Fun for Residents and Children Alike

Somerset Indooroopilly hosted a Children’s Christmas Party, welcoming both the residents’ children and grandchildren. The highlight was the Santa-mobile, bringing joy and excitement to all the little ones. Later, residents joined together for the Somerset Christmas Party, enjoying a night of good food, laughter, and festive cheer. It was truly a fabulous evening for residents of all ages.

The Avenue Maroochydore: Decorating Together

At The Avenue Maroochydore, residents embraced the spirit of Christmas by coming together to decorate the communal Christmas tree. This simple yet heartwarming tradition helped bring the community together and set the festive tone across the village.

The Ninth Middle Ridge: Giving Back and Getting Festive

For the second year in a row, residents at The Ninth Middle Ridge have embraced the spirit of giving by supporting Tony’s Kitchen, a Toowoomba-based charity providing meals, showers, and laundry services to people in need. This year, two residents volunteered and donated funds on Christmas Day, continuing a meaningful tradition that raised $620 last year.

Residents also joined forces to decorate the Christmas tree, creating a warm and festive atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. The village truly showcased the magic of community, generosity, and holiday cheer.

The Atrium Lutwyche: A Mini Christmas Market

Residents at The Atrium Lutwyche added a festive twist with a mini Christmas market. It was a joyful event where residents could come together, enjoy seasonal treats, and celebrate the holiday season in style.

Aura Holdings Staff Christmas Celebrations: Six Villages, One Team

It’s not often that all our teams are in the same room; sales consultants, village managers, assistants, maintenance and grounds crew, and head office staff are usually spread far and wide. But this year, coming together for the Aura Holdings Christmas celebration felt extra meaningful.

We laughed, toasted, and reflected on a huge year, reminded that behind every home, village, and milestone… It’s our people who make it all happen. A huge congratulations went to our award winners, who were so well deserved, and a big thank you to every single person who shows up with care, pride, and passion every day.

Bringing Christmas Spirit to Life Across Aura Holdings

From festive parties and tree decorations to giving back to those in need, our villages demonstrate the heart of what makes over 60s retirement living so special: community, connection, and celebration. This Christmas, we’ve seen once again that no matter the village, the spirit of the season is alive and thriving among our residents.
