Bishopsview is an architecturally designed retirement community offering modern, low-maintenance living for those looking to downsize without compromising on location, quality, or community.

Once complete, this boutique village will comprise of 75 apartments over three thoughtfully designed buildings, surrounded by landscaped gardens and leafy outlooks. Set to be built in a single stage, Bishopsview, has been designed by Cox Architecture to complement the existing neighbourhood while providing expansive facilities, luxury apartments, and facilitating a vibrant community, the first of its kind in the inner West.

Bishopsview Milton will be a place where history meets modern retirement living. Set beside the heritage-listed buildings belonging to The Anglican Church Southern Qld, including St. Francis College, Bishopsview honours the history of the site, from repurposing historic elements to being named in homage to the Old Bishopsbourne it overlooks.

Aura Holdings CEO, Sean Graham, said the development approval is an exciting step for the project and local community.

“Securing development approval for Bishopsview Milton is a significant milestone for Aura,” stated Mr Graham.

“This project is a unique retirement living option that responds to a gap in the market providing future residents the opportunity to downsize to a purpose-built home in a rare, untouched inner-city location.”

The village is located close to cafés, public transport, shopping precincts, river walks, and medical services. Bishopsview will offer a range of facilities and community spaces such as a pool, gym, yoga area, outdoor BBQ and entertaining area, library, and billiards room, allowing residents to remain active and independent, in the area they know and love.

With construction scheduled to be completed in 2028, Bishopsview will be Aura Holding’s eighth village, adding to Aura’s rapidly growing portfolio across Southeast Queensland. In the past year, Aura Holdings has progressed The Evelyn Mt Ommaney, due for completion in early 2027, whilst also completing its seven-stage development at Kingsford Terrace Corinda.
